Quintessential 60’s beachfront accommodation.

Shark Bay Cottages consists of 12 basic holiday shacks and 10 caravan sites for self sufficient vans in an idyllic location right across from the beach on Denham’s main street. 

The cottages range from a one-room studio, perfect for a couple, to three-bedroom configurations which sleep up to 8 people.

All are fully self-contained with cooking facilities and air-conditioning. You’ll love that every one of our cottages has been strategically built to have a verandah with an ocean view.

Caravan park bays have been spaciously placed between our cottages for your comfort. All bays are of a generous size and pet friendly.

Guest facilities include two BBQ areas, a courtyard with outdoor fireplace, guest laundry, complimentary WIFI in public areas and plenty of parking for your car and boat.

Our ethos is to provide you with simple and functional holiday accommodation in an original beach shack, so you have a perfect base to enjoy what this amazing part of the world has to offer.

PETS - Pets ARE welcome! However pet owners NEED to abide by our Guest Pet Agreement. We do charge an additional cost per night, per pet. Maximum of 2 pets per cottage.

Booking Terms

  • A valid credit card is required for all bookings.

    • A 30% deposit is required to secure your booking.

    • The 70% remainder will be automatically charged 30 days prior to your arrival date on your nominated credit card.

    • If you book within 30 days of your arrival date, the full amount is due at the time of booking.

    Once a booking is confirmed, a contract exists with Shark Bay Holiday Cottages and you accept the terms and conditions of this booking. Shark Bay Holiday Cottages has the right to release any cottages where the payment terms have not been met.

    Please note: We use a secure payment facility which encrypts your card details. We do not have any access to your card numbers. A 1% surcharge is applied to all card payments.

    • If cancelled more than 30 days before arrival date, there there will be no charge applicable.

    • If cancelled less than 30 days before arrival there will be no refund applicable.

    • There is no refund for early departures.

    We strongly advise travel insurance for all your holiday bookings to meet your personal requirements in respect to illness, changes in personal circumstances, travel restrictions or employment changes.

    Our Cancellation Policy takes into account bookings affected by COVID-19.
