Our Caravan Sites

Settle into one of our 10 spacious, pet-friendly caravan bays nestled between our iconic cottages—perfect for travellers with self-sufficient vans. With 2 powered and 8 unpowered sites available, each accommodating vehicles up to 8 metres, you'll enjoy comfort, privacy, and easy access to our guest facilities, including BBQ areas, an outdoor fireplace, and complimentary WiFi in public zones. Whether you're chasing sunrises or stargazing by night, our off-grid caravan sites offer a welcoming base for your Shark Bay adventure.

Please note: our caravan bays are for self-sufficient vans only as we have no toilets or kitchen facilities on site.

Unpowered Site

Our off-grid caravan bays suit self-sufficient vans measuring up to 8 meters including tow hitch. All sites feature a sandy shell grit surface suitable for one vehicle. Please note: vans must be fully self-sufficient as there are no toilet or kitchen facilities on site.

Powered Site

Choose from two powered caravan bays suitable for self-sufficient vans up to 8 meters in length, including the tow hitch. Each site has access to water and 15-amp electricity. The sandy shell grit surface accommodates one vehicle per site. Please note: vans must be fully self-sufficient, as there are no toilet or kitchen facilities on site.

Booking Terms

  • A valid credit card is required for all bookings.

    • A 30% deposit is required to secure your booking.

    • The 70% remainder will be automatically charged 30 days prior to your arrival date on your nominated credit card.

    • If you book within 30 days of your arrival date, the full amount is due at the time of booking.

    Once a booking is confirmed, a contract exists with Shark Bay Holiday Cottages and you accept the terms and conditions of this booking. Shark Bay Holiday Cottages has the right to release any cottages where the payment terms have not been met. We also have the right to upgrade your cottage at our discretion, without prior notice, before your arrival. Rest assured, any upgrade will be to an equal or higher standard to enhance your stay.

    Please note: We use a secure payment facility which encrypts your card details. We do not have any access to your card numbers. A 1% surcharge is applied to all card payments.

    • If cancelled more than 30 days before arrival date, there there will be no charge applicable.

    • If cancelled less than 30 days before arrival there will be no refund applicable.

    • There is no refund for early departures.

    We strongly advise travel insurance for all your holiday bookings to meet your personal requirements in respect to illness, changes in personal circumstances, travel restrictions or employment changes.

    Our Cancellation Policy takes into account bookings affected by COVID-19.

    All cancellations must be made in writing to hello@sharkbaycottages.com.au.

  • Check in is 2pm.

    Check Out is 9.30am.

    Our cottages are self check-in. Please check your emails for instructions on how to check-in.

    If you cannot locate your accommodation, Onsite Management can be contacted on 9948 1323

    Please Note:

    Our onsite manager is available to assist guests until 8:30 PM daily.

    For arrivals after 8:30 PM, please refer to your confirmation email for your cottage name and location. All cottages are clearly signposted to make your check-in as easy as possible.

    Important: Guests who contact the manager after 8:30 PM for assistance will incur a $100 call-out fee, payable at the time of check-in.
